With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Eckenrode (Shenango, Pennsylvania), born in McVeytown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 31, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin South and Mary Youtzy South; her husband Elmer J. Eckenrode (Buss); and her siblings, Leroy Harshbarger, Jane South and Jean South.
She is survived by: her daughter Cathy Eckenrode of Greensboro, N. C.; and her sister Helen Yeager of Audubon.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial contributions be made to the donor's favorite charity in her memory.
