He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his children, Tommy, Samuel "Sammy" Nail, Jr., Lee McCurdy (Anthony DiCarlo) and Chris McCurdy; and his siblings, Tom Nail, Mary and Pearl. He is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
