It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn V. Lauten in Shenango, Pennsylvania, born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 12, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Franklin and Martha Harrison Dawson; her husband Robert H. Lauten; and her brothers, William and Sonny Dawson.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Durnell of Evans City, Burt Lauten, Sr. (Janet) of Ellwood City, Kenneth Lauten (Brenda) of Fombell and Lynn Lippert of Ellwood City; and her siblings, Lois Syphrit of New Wilmington, Martha Johnson of New Wilmington and Glenn Dawson of Ashburnham, MA.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
