With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth J. Lawson of Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 1, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Dower and Eva Dower (Day); her husband Peter P. "Pete" Lawson; and her siblings, Joseph Dower, Harold Dower, Daniel Dower and Doris Machamer (Dower).
She is survived by: her children, Peter Paul Lawson, Jr. (Deborah) of Frackville, Joseph B. Lawson (Susan) of Ringtown and Paula Jo Hornberger (Lance) of Ringtown; her grandchildren, Laura Young (Charles) of Frackville, Rachael Yeager (Joshua) of Marion Heights, Joseph "Ben" Lawson of Shenandoah, Austin Hornberger (Victoria) of Ringtown, Mitchell Hornberger of Ringtown and Joyanne Hornberger of Ringtown; and her great grandchildren, Asher, Paisley Lawson, Harper, Liam Yeager, Lilly and Carson Young. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
