He was predeceased by: his father Harry Shadel; and his grandparents, Harry, Ann Shadel, Herb and Julia Craven.
He is survived by: his mother Joyce Reba (Teets); his father-in-law Gary Salter of Shenandoah; and his brothers, Ken Shadel and Joey Metrick. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
