With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Heckman of Shelocta, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 27, 2024 at the age of 83. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Nancy may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George D. Smith and Mildred Smith (Widdowson). She is survived by: her husband Harold E. Heckaman; her children, Wanda K. Bish (Ken), Jeffrey H. Heckman and Lisa L. Ridilla; her grandchildren, Kenneth H. Bish (Anna) and Kyle E. Bish (Kayla); her sister Dorothy Elbel; and her brother-in-law Robert "Bob" Heckman.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mount Zion Church of Girty (449 Girty Rd, Shelocta, PA 15774). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
