He was predeceased by: his parents, John Yount and Mary Yount (Smail); his wife Lois E. Yount (Meyer); and his siblings, Kenneth, Gene, Fred Yount, Virginia Cheskey and Rose Harmon.
He is survived by: his son Charles Yount; his siblings, Richard Yount of Ohio, Eileen Deyarmin of Brush Valley and Donna Mae Wyatt of Indiana, PA; his nephew Ed Yount (Sue); and his caregivers, Dale and Theresa Meyer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
