He was predeceased by: his brother Levi Shellhammer; and his grandparents, James Hawk Sr. (Shirley), Dorm and Deborah Shellhammer. He is survived by: his parents, Gregory Shellhammer Sr. (Jennifer) of Shelocta and Lisa Higgins (Timothy) of Apollo; his siblings, Karissa Shellhammer of Vandergrift, Sam and Ben Shellhammer of Shelocta; his niece Laelah George; his nephew Wyatt George; and his pet Lilly. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Janette L. Gamble Funeral Home Inc. (2842 River Rd, Vandergrift, PA 15690). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
