It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Jean Marshall of Shelocta, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 18, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Black and Frances Weaver (Hollobaugh); her husband James E. Marshall; and her siblings, Virgil Black, Eleanor Hollobaugh and Anna Mae Spence.

She is survived by: her children, Larry J. Marshall of Shelocta, Shirley A. Marshall (Karla Cogley) of Daytona Beach, Fla. and Sally J. Marshall of Ridgeland, S. C.; her grandsons, Aaron W. Marshall and Lawrence J. Marshall (Krystle Williams); and her sisters, Betty J. Daugherty (David) of Creekside and Dorothy A. Fleming (John) of Indiana.

Due to current regulations, all social distancing guidelines will be followed. Guests are respectfully asked to wear a mask or face covering.

Contributions may be made in Doris' memory to the Plumcreek Church of the Brethren, 3087 Dutch Run Road, Shelocta, PA 15774; Elderton Volunteer Fire Dept., P.O. Box 367, Elderton, PA 15774; or the Grace Independent Baptist Church payable to the Rev. Nicholas Kostella, P.O. Box 1, Shelocta, PA 15774.
