She was predeceased by: her parents, Vane Anderson and Bessie Anderson (Hileman); and her siblings, Willard Anderson, Della Magness, Mildred Dailey, Jean Wynes and Ruth Anderson.

She is survived by: her husband Wayne E. Kough; her children, Debra Simon (Gregory) of Indiana, PA and Dennis W. "Weed" Kough of Shelocta; and her grandchildren, Stacie Barbus (Shawn), Christopher Simon, Matthew Simon (Tamara), Jacob Kough and Clinton Kough.

Memorial contributions may be made in Betty Lou Kough's name to Mt. Union Church Cemetery Fund, 131 Stoney Point Road, Shelocta, PA 15774.
