He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Silves and Sarah Bell Silves (Murray); and his sister Edith Marano. He is survived by: his son Monty Silves; his daughters-in-law, Catherine Young (Jason Silves) and Hillary Roell Silves; his nieces and nephews, Kim Marano, Delbert Marano, Erich Weidner, Sarah Marano and Nora DeVries; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Andrew Marano, David Marano, Kyle Marano, Christopher Korbar, Adam Marano, Luke McKinney, Cody DeVries, Cole DeVries, Cutter DeVries, Shala McKinney and Marley Traister; his grandchildren, Cali and Kelsi Silves; and his sister Gayle Weidner.
