He was predeceased by: his parents, John Harry Hanson and Ruth Hanson (Anderson); his former wife Diane Hanson (Engard); and his sisters, Shirley Shettler (James "Bucky") and Carolyn Russ (Pete).
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Hanson of Sheffield, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
