It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Jewell (Sheakleyville, Pennsylvania), born in Meadville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 2, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry C. and Florence Jewell, Sr. (Johnson); and his siblings, Patty Groger, Beth Jewell, John Jewell, Don Jewell and David Jewell.
He is survived by: his wife Janet M. Orr; his sons, Edward M. Jewell (Molly) and Robert W. Jewell (Barb); his siblings, Sue Emert, Frank Jewell (Dee) and Harry Jewell (Caryl); his grandchildren, Amanda B. Jewell Turner, Krystal M. Jewell Hunsley, Paul E. Jewell, Sierra K. Jewell and Kayla N. Jewell; and his great grandchild Zoey Hunsley.
The family has requested that those attending to please wear a face mask and maintain social distance.
