It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Halstead (Shavertown, Pennsylvania), born in Niagara Falls, New York, who passed away on July 9, 2018, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband Frank Halstead; her children, Karen McCormick Weiss and Daniel Rieger McCormick; and her siblings, Norma Mae Geddes, Mary Ellen Cummings and Homer Rieger.
She is survived by: her spouses, Edward McCormick and Frank Halstead; her son James Edward McCormick, Jr. of Fort Collins; her children-in-law, Tom Weiss of Murrysville and Mary McCormick of Fayetteville; and her sister Elizabeth Boers of Brevard. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
