It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Attorney John J. Aponick Jr. (Shavertown, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 3, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Judge Sr and John Aponick Sr.; his wife Charie; his children, Zoe, John and Douglas; and his grandson Edward.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Attorney Aponick may be made to the Luzerne Foundation, 34 S. River St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.
