He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Thompson (Ramp); and his brother James. He is survived by: his father William R. Thompson; his children, Christina Bell (Chris) of Sharon and Bill Thompson (Tara) of Mt. Holly, NC.; his grandchildren, Chase Bell, Reese, Libby and Will Thompson; and his brothers, Terry Thompson (Debbie), Ron Thompson (Bonnie), Russ Thompson and Joe Thompson.
