She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Costell and Zylpha M. Costell (Cole); her husband Norman Horvath; her children, William Richard "Squeeky" Horvath and Peggy Sue Horvath; and her brothers, Richard W. "Dick" Costell and Raymond Costell.

She is survived by: her children, Shelly Findley (Craig) of Sharpsville and Butch Horvath of Sharpsville; her grandchildren, Jason Findley of Cleveland, Natalie Dundon of Hubbard, OH, Brittany Kulka (Dustin) of Hermitage and Nathaniel Findley of Sharpsville; and her great grandchildren, Spencer and Sophia Kulka.

Memorial contributions may be sent to First Assembly of God Church 1455 N. Keel Ridge Rd. Hermitage, PA 16148 in memory of Virginia.
