He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Thompson and Lucy Thompson (McCullough); his wife Kay E. Pringle (Butler); his siblings, Opal Thompson, Evelyn Williams, Merna Clarke, Glenna Ogino and Hugh Thompson; and his stepdaughter Cindy Pringle.
He is survived by: his son Jesse Thompson (Theresa); his sister Wilda Byers (Jim) of Dayton, OH; his stepdaughter Deborah Brandon (Thomas); his stepgranddaughter Leigh Brandon; and his former wife Marian Appleton (Colin) of Naples, FL..
