He was predeceased by: his parents, Enoch Weldon and Ruth Means (Wasley); his former wife Linda D. Angelo; his brother William Means; and his sister-in-law Lillian "Becky" Means.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Benka (Seresky); his sons, Michael E. Means of Thomasville, NC and Ronald J. Means (Christine) of Chesapeake, VA; his stepsons, Joseph R. Benka (Angela) of Garner, NC and Scott D. Benka (Lori) of Grove City, PA; his sisters-in-law, JoAnn Truax of Youngstown, OH, Juliann Willaman (Ernie) of Vienna, OH, Joyce McFadden of Warren, OH and Janice Campman (Ed) of Columbus, OH; and his pets, Jessie James, Sammy and Rambo. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
