He was predeceased by: his father Richard Bauer; and his brother James Bauer. He is survived by: his mother Catherine Bauer (Easley); his daughters, Kathie Jo Hall (Jo Bauer) of Tennessee and Amanda Lynn Bateman (Patrick); his mother-in-law Bonnie B.; and his sister Linda Johnson (Jeff). He is also survived by six grandchildren and 2 great grandsons.
