She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Smith and Greta Smith (Lamb); her husband Paul Orpen; and her brother John Smith. She is survived by: her sons, David Tate (Jennifer) of Aurora, OH and Eric Tate (Alana) of New Canaan, CT; her stepchildren, Paul, Angela and Jason; her grandchildren, Kennedy, Jackson, Caitlyn and Cameron Tate; and her sister Esther McCloskey (Richard) of Jamestown, PA..
