He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur E. Rose and Ora Rose (Robinette); his wife Reba Mae Morris; his son-in-law James Hinson; and his great grandchild Elizabeth Rose Marsteller.
He is survived by: his children, Judith M. Marsteller (James), Margaret L. Hinson and Richard E. Rose; and his siblings-in-law, Freda Davis, Beda Rose and David T. Schleuter. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren.
