Susan A. Slavin Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan A. Slavin (Sharon, Pennsylvania), born in Arbovale, West Virginia, who passed away on December 23, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearly Sheets and Nettie Sheets (Sutton); and her husband Paul B. Slavin. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Meeker (Bob Davis) of Austintown, OH and Terence Slavin (Sheila) of Masury, OH; her grandsons, Robert Meeker of Champion, OH, Brian Meeker (Stephanie) of Richmond, IN, Chris Meeker (Katy Marsh) of Shirley, MA, Matthew Slavin (Taylor) of Polk, PA and Daniel Slavin of Masury, OH; and her great grandchildren, Steven Postlethwaite, Adam, Aaron Miller, John Chicase, Alex Hall, Emily, Olivia Meeker, Brinlee Slavin, Charlee Chicase and Mae Postlethwaite.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Susan's honor to Arbovale United Methodist Church in care of Jane Gordon Financial Secretary 3473 N. Fork Loop Arbovale, WV 24915 or to The Camelot Center 3498 Barclay-Messerly Rd. Southington, OH 44470, an equine assisted therapy center where her daughter Debbie has been employed for twenty-eight years.
