Ruth Baker Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2021, at the age of 87, Ruth Baker (Sharon, Pennsylvania) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Baker to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence T. Bordell and Hilda Marie Bordell (Kelly); her husband Arthur L. Baker; and her siblings, Lawrence J. Bordell, George E. Bordell, Mary McCurdy, Irene Munnell, Genevieve Fink, Annabelle Leslie, Kartherine Yankevich and Shirley Novello.
She is survived by: her children, Darlah Shugarts (Frank) of Brookfield, Yevonne "Vonnie" Abeles (Thomas) of Deland, FL and Lawrence "Larry" Baker of Masury; her grandchildren, Alannah Baker, Ryan Shugarts, Michaela Baker, Dylan Abeles, Lauren Shugarts and Lawrence Baker; her great grandchildren, Dani, Capri, Christian, Naomi and Sire; and also Bernadine Bayus. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Due to concerns presented by the Covid-19 virus, the service will be held privately and broadcasted via livestream at 11 a. m. Tuesday (1-5-21) in Sharon Baptist Church, Hermitage, with Rev. Curt Gordon, pastor, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Sharon Baptist Church, 1531 George St., Hermitage, PA 16148.
