It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Stephen Poltar of Sharon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Robert Stephen leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Poltar and Jean Kowalsky Poltar. He is survived by: his wife Constance Poltar; his children, Michele Finley (Bill) of Lorton, VA and Dan Poltar (Jessica) of Charles Town, WV; his sister Catherine Chess (Ray) of Westminster, CA; and his grandchildren, Caitlin, Ryan, Michael and Christopher.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Raymond of Peñafort Catholic Church. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Quantico National Cemetery (18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA 22172).
