He was predeceased by: his father Robert II; and his brother Randy Cunningham. He is survived by: his mother Jacqueline Cunningham, II (Reda) of Cape Coral, FL; his significant other Peggy Childs; his close friend Peggy Childs; his son Robert Cunningham, IV of Phoenix, AZ; his grandson Abel Cunningham; his stepson John Childs (Jennifer) of Danville, PA; his grandchildren, Raymond King Cunningham, Daniel Childs and Haleigh Barbour; and his siblings, Reda Cunningham and Rodney Cunningham of Cape Coral.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be directed to Abel Cunningham, C/O Peggy Childs.
