The memory of Rilla Svirbly of Sharon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 9, 2024 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband John E. Svirbly; and her siblings, Marge Laverty (Tom), Jean DeGerolamo (Fritz), Thomas Merat (Connie) and Robert Merat (Esther).
She is survived by: her children, Rilla Dunlevy (George) of Maumee, OH, Nancy Ewing (Larry) of Masury, OH, Mary Svirbly, John Svirbly (Diane), Fred Svirbly (Jeannette) of Gardners, PA, Ted Svirbly (Pam), Fran Svirbly (Kim) of Masury, OH and Tom Svirbly (Guyla) of Mineral Ridge, PA. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. Bradley McGonigle F. H. & Crematory, Inc. - Sharon (1090 E State St, Sharon, PA 16146). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Church of the Good Shepherd (3616 Sharon Rd, West Middlesex, PA 16159).
The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to either, St. Michael's Church, 85 North High St., Greenville, PA 16125; or Helping Hands Hospice, 480 North Kerrwood Dr., STE 103, Hermitage, PA 16148.
