He was predeceased by: his father Myron Bortz; and his wife Mary Lou Bortz (Graham). He is survived by: his children, DeAnn McCullough (David) of Sharpsville, Richard "Dick" Bortz (Wendy) of Clarks Mills and Douglas Bortz (Janet) of South Lyon, MI; and his siblings, James Bortz (Linda) and Barb Heckman. He is also survived by six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
