Leonard R. Thompson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leonard R. Thompson of Sharon, Pennsylvania, born in New Castle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 5, 2021 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Ross and Vesta Matthews (Thompson); and his brother Charles Thompson. He is survived by: his son Brian Thompson (Crystal) of Coudersport, PA; his siblings, Joanne Cannon, Dawn Monteiro, Shaunelle Eggleston, Judy Ross of Washington, D. C. and Jamie Eggleston (Jennifer) of Bethlehem, PA; his close friend Eleen "Doll" Wilson; his grandchildren, Caitlyn Lloyd (Brandon) of Coudersport, PA and Camren Thompson of Coudersport, PA; and his great grandchildren, Laylah and Lincoln Lloyd. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to concerns presented by the Covid-19 pandemic, a Celebration of Leonard's life will be held this coming spring at Second Baptist Church, New Castle.
