He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret "McCrae" Williams; his daughters, Annette and Althea Williams; his grandchildren, Danielle, Londa Williams and Dana Flemings; and his brother James Williams.
He is survived by: his children, John Williams Jr., Shirley Wheeler, Gloria Williams and Sandra McCain; his stepdaughter Jennette "David" James; his daughter-in-law Darlene Williams; and his friend Alberta Kitt. He is also survived by 22 Grandchildren, 57 Great Grandchildren, and 15 Great Great Grandchildren; a host of other relatives.
