It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jason C. D'Alicandro of Sharon, Pennsylvania, born in Pitcairn, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 2, 2021, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Gary A. "Wizard" D'Alicandro; and his grandparents, Eleanor, W. Owen Mathias, Clara and Andrew D'Alicandro.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon D'Alicandro (Jenkins); his daughters, Abby Rose and Riley Paige D'Alicandro; his mother Sherry Mathias D'Alicandro of Pitcairn; his sister Nicole D'Alicandro of Pitcairn; his nieces and nephews, Tyler D'Alicandro, Michael Burkett, Jesse Greyshock, Devin Rupp-D'Alicandro and Sadie Greyshock; his great-nephew Kyle Madden; his parents-in-law, Anne and Stan Jenkins of Plum; and his sister-in-law Laura Greyshock (Shawn) of Tarentum. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and cherished friends.
Due to current CDC recommendations the wearing of masks and social distancing will be followed.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions in Jason's name be made to Mission to North America, P.O. Box 890233, Charlotte, NC 28289, memo line "Resurrection Indiana" or to the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium specifically earmarked for the rhinos, which were Jason's particular favorite.
