He was predeceased by: his parents, Graves Huffman and Sara Ellen Huffman (Garrett); his daughter Tamela Hartwick; and his sisters, Wilma Ruth Edwards, Annabelle Winters and Patty Criss.
He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Joyce Bayer; his son James R. Smith Jr. of New Castle, PA; his stepchildren, Debra L and David R. Pickens of Sharon, PA; his grandchildren, Brandon Smith, Allison Sanitate, Paulie Sanitate and Michael Ser (Samantha); and his great grandchildren, Jackson Paul Smith, Cayla Ser, Noah Ser, Cameron Ser and Brayden Ser.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home (264 E State St, Sharon, PA 16146). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
