It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James A. Walker Sr. of Sharon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 1, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As James departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved James. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Edward Walker and Ruth Ann Yale; and his brother-in-law Dennis Yale. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte J. Walker (Williams); his children, Kimberly Burgan of Kennesaw, GA, Vicki Callahan (Rick) of Severna Park, MD, Cathy Kamovitch (Richie) of Sharpsville, PA and James A. Walker, Jr. (Debbie) of Hubbard, OH; and his sister Florence Paddock of Franklin, PA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chestnut Ridge Church of God (7215 Chestnut-Ridge Rd, Hubbard, OH 44425). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donor's choice and would like to thank the staff of Elmwood Assisted Living for their exceptional care and support.
