He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry C. Porterfield, Sr. and Jenetta M. Porterfield-Howard (Ward); his granddaughter Heaven Marie Lewis; his siblings, Gail Boles, Crystal Porterfield, Sherry Stone and Dorothy "Dukie" Burnett; and his son-in-law Steve Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Porterfield (Mollard); his children, Diane Smith of Windsor, Maggie Clark (Brian) of Masury, Sonny Porterfield (Tammy) of Sharon, Gail Feldman (Trapper) of Aken, Billy Dollman and Amanda Altman (Billy); and his siblings, Mike Porterfield of Nesbit, Darlene Luzar (Frank) of Austintown, Bob Porterfield (Linda) of Sharon, Chuck Porterfield (Tami) of Sharon, Rodney "Boo Boo" Porterfield of Brookfield and Janie Catron (Bob) of Franklin, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 12 ½ great-grandchildren.
