He is survived by: his wife Mary Benson (McCullough); his children, Erin Benson and Brendan Benson; his grandson Brody Benson of Boise, ID; and his siblings, Kelly Sack (Terry) of Pittsburgh, PA, Barbara Yody (Dan) of Philadelphia, PA, Kimberly Benson of Germantown, MD, Kenneth Benson (Patty) of Pittsburgh, PA and Paul Benson (Vicki). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
