He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gruitza and Aurelia Gruitza (Vulcan); and his siblings, Susan Seidel and John Gruitza. He is survived by: his friend Brian Prochenets; his former wife Vikki Gruitza of Hermitage; and his siblings, Virginia "Gigi" Cannone (Michael Cannone) of Poland, Ohio, Andrienne Tychonievich of Hubbard, Ohio and Attorney Michael Gruitza (Joan) of Hermitage. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests prayers and memorial contributions be made to the Shenango Valley Animal Shelter.
