He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edward, Sr. and Viola Brown (Bearfield); his siblings, William Kenneth Brown and Helen Hess; and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Hess and Lila Mae Brown.

He is survived by: his siblings, Thomas Brown, Betty Robinson (Bill), Shirley Brown and Mary Brown (Robert Dorus). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
