He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hill and Ella "Pearl" Hill (Sandrock); and his sisters, Helen Smith and Anna Hundley. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Hill (Bromley); his children, Kimberley Downing (Joseph) of Titusville, PA, Brenda Benton (George) of Sandy Lake, PA and Jeffrey Hill (Traci) of Hudson, FL; his siblings, Homer Hill of Tionesta, PA and Ruth Kiefer of Tionesta, PA; and his grandchildren, Jeffrey Hill, Jr. (Andrea), Lindsey Downing, Kailyn Hill, Joseph Downing, III, Kendra Anderson (Tyler) and Kelsey Benton.
