He was predeceased by: his parents, James Kennedy and Willie Mae Kennedy (Mitchell). He is survived by: his wife Rosa B. Elliott; his children, Geraldine Pegues, Jacqueline Peagler (Maurice), David Kennedy Jr., Cheryl Cannon (Walter) and Anthony Kennedy (Holly Hughes); and his sister Janice Boulware (Willie Pfifer). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
