She was predeceased by: her parents, John R. Shockley and Bonnie Shockley (Wainwright); and her husband Robert. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Clawson of Lost River, WV, Donna Clawson of Phoenix, AZ, Diane Clawson of Albuquerque, NM and David Clawson of Los Angeles, CA.; and her brothers, Raymond, Jerry and Waverly Shockley.
She also supported several charities including Prince of Peace, the American Cancer Society, and animal shelters, among many others.
