He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Samuel Puntureri and Eva Marie Puntureri (Gallo); and his siblings, Teresa Puntureri, Stella Stanzione, Samuel and Vincent Puntureri.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Ann Puntureri (George); his children, Patricia L. Coates (James), Kristen A. Calarco (Joseph) of Eagle Vail, CO, Joseph Scott Puntureri (Tracy) and Charles "Chip" Michael Puntureri of Indian Shores, FL; his siblings, Genevieve Perry and Rocco Puntureri of Windber, PA; and his grandchildren, Matthew Calarco, James Coates, Grant Coates, Emma Calarco, Ava Coates, Joseph Puntureri and Giovanni Alberto Puntureri. He is also survived by his mother being one of 13 children and his father being one of nine, he remained close to many cousins.
