He was predeceased by: his parents, William Luis Wooten and Jane Johnson Wooten; and his son Michael Dowdy. He is survived by: his spouse Christee Thomas-Wooten; his son Alphonse Phillip Wooten; and his siblings, Charles, Jacqueline, David, Anthony and Linda.
