He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Young and Marion Young (Wilson); his wife Jean Rhodes; and his son Michael. He is survived by: his son Eric "Slippy" Young (Ronda); his grandson Jordan Young; his siblings, John, Carl "Lips" Young and Carolyn Lauer; and his stepgreat-grandson Kayson "Beep" Tunstall.
