He was predeceased by: his parents, Emerson Hughes and Rosetta Hughes (Ermert); his wife Elizabeth Hughes (Weber); and his brothers, Stanley, Leroy and Emerson Hughes.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda (Kris Panikkar) of Elysburg, PA and Sandra (Michael Kane) of Ashland; his grandchildren, Mark Brennan, Jonathan (Candace Hadesty), Jillian (Robert Ennis) and Lindsay (Douglas Fetterolf); and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Kaitlyn Ennis, Everett, Kellan, Kinsley Hadesty, Kolton, Tyson and Devan Fetterolf.
