He was predeceased by: his wife Olga J. Burns (Chernago); his parents, Edward Burns and Zella Burns (Kahler); and his siblings, Harry Burns, Gerald Burns, Thomas Burns and Mary Mace.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon D. Royle (Donald E. Royle) of Sinking Spring, Patricia B. Davis (Stephen W. Davis) of Reading and Stacey A. Elliott (John S. Elliott) of Harrisburg; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Royle, Jason Royle, Kelly Davis, Sean Elliott, Cady Elliott and Ryan Elliott; and his great grandchildren, Joseph Royle, Emma Royle and Cassie Royle.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church 1018 North 8th Street, Reading, PA 19604 in memory of Mr. Donald J. Burns.
