With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chester H. Milbrand (Shamokin, Pennsylvania), born in Danville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 27, 2018 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rose Milbrand (Janaski); his children, JoAnn McKeen, Lori Bradley (Brian, Kathy Barrett), Karen Nyce (Jeffrey, Anthony Milbrand), Lisa Wightman and Cheryl Wightman (Joseph); his grandchildren, Jenai, Jayden McKeen, Cassandra Betley (Matthew, Megan Bradley), Scott Bradley, Timothy Barrett (Tara, Jillian Shipp), Todd, Christopher Barrett (Deanna, Courtney), Jennifer Nyce, Devin, Allison Milbrand and Joseph Parker Wightman; his great grandchildren, Lyla Barrett, Kate, Cora Shipp and Lucy Betley; and his brother Michael Milbrand.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Carmelite Monastery, Northumberland County, and Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Coal Township.
