It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Ellen Maurer (Shamokin, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 19, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Brook and Florence Brook (Saunders); and her daughter Cheryl Sarmento. She is survived by: her husband Paul F. Maurer, Jr; and her children, Brenda Campbell (Peter) of San Angelo, TX, Claudia Fulmer (Jack) of Massillon, OH, Gail Lewin (John) of Mableton, GA, Mary Friel (Bill) of Gilbertsville, PA, Jeff Maurer (Diana) of Camden, DE, Lisa Almond of Fleetwood, PA and Terrace Maurer (Nancy) of Blandon, PA. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
