He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer R. Miller and Hazel Miller (Kennedy); his wife Norma; his son Garry R. Miller; and his stepfather Harry S. Myers.

He is survived by: his children, Larry W. Miller (Brenda) of Quincy, PA, Dennis R. "Denny" Miller (Cathy) of Raleigh, NC and Tina M. Richmond (Robert) of Hillsborough, NC. He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
