He was predeceased by: his mother Gladys Margaret Logsdon (Doyle). He is survived by: his wife Carroll; his children, Kent (Michelle) of Falls Church, Catherine (Ernesto Moreno) of Goodyear and Karen (John Landwehr) of Vienna, Virginia.; his grandchildren, Honora (Nora), William Logsdon (Will), Anita, Severano Moreno (Seve), John Thomas III (JT) and Todd Landwehr; his father L. Peter Logsdon C. S. C.; and his sister Leann Logsdon.
