He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Schwerin Sr. and Harriet Hill Schwerin; his brother Thomas Schwerin (Julie); his son Thomas E. Schwerin (Juanine); his brother-in-law Joseph W. Himmelstein, Jr.; and his grandson Ben Schwerin.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie Schwerin; his children, Mike Schwerin (Adele), Alma Sanbern, Rosie Noll, William F. Schwerin and Norma Magness (Greg); his stepdaughter Jenny Harley (Mike); and his sister Harriet L. Himmelstein. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren, as well as two nephews and a niece.
